Antique and classic cars shine in Vermont

carssss.jpgGear heads beware, the car shows have begun. Tis the season to fill those empty lots and fields, hoods popped, so the crowds can ogle the beauty of an engine. I'm not one for cars, but I do know I enjoy seeing a classic car cared for as if it's never been driven. The 23rd Annual Manchester Antique & Classic Car Show is this weekend, June 13-14, where you'll find an impressive selection of antique cars, motorcycles, and trucks. In addition to gear lubing and HP banter, there will also be field games, raffles, silent auction items, flea market, food vendors, and live music. As only Vermont could offer, Saturday night is capped off with an evening reception and barn dance featuring the Starline Rhythm Boys. The car show is a fine opportunity to spend a summer weekend in central Vermont, check online for details.
