Good Olde New England
There's lots to celebrate this Saturday, on Olde New England Day. There's history, culture, and the patriotism of Woodstock, N.H. This Rockwellian town's unique shops, restaurants and lodging offers plenty to do for all ages. Artisans and crafters will line the streets, and local shops pull their wares out for sidewalk sales too. Live entertainment serenades you as you move in and out of town, ride fire trucks, eat some BBQ, and join nearby Lincoln, N.H. for the official "Splash into Summer Weekend." There's a running race for reading, concerts, character breakfasts, deals at Whale's Tale water park, and my favorite, the New England Brewfest which features 20 of New England's top microbreweries. Olde New England Day is diverse and well spread out, so you never feel like you're in a crowd which is much of its appeal. Here you can shop, relax, sample and enjoy. Special lodging packages are still available, so don't wait to make your weekend plans, call 603.745.6621 now.
