The Burlington Discover Jazz Festival is here again! For 10, yes ten, days you won't believe your eyes with who organizers have lined up this year. Think Diana Krall, Branford Marsalis, The Eames Brothers, Esperanza Spaulding, and Dave Keller Band. So many bands, so much music, so so little time.

The fest is in its 26th year and not only covers jazz, but incorporates blues, funk, swing, and Latin music. Thousands of revelers can attend concerts, dances, jam sessions, street parties and special cruises on Lake Champlain. A special series of meet and greet artist sessions and workshops are also available to the public. The Discover Jazz Fest makes an even bigger splash as everything is a bit bigger and brighter this year during the 2009 Lake Champlain Quadricentennial. The festival takes place on venues all over Burlington, and runs from June 5-14. For more information, including lodging, check it out online.
