Stowe Garden Festival this weekend

Posted by Kimberly Sherman June 24, 2009 10:14 AM

Even with all this rain New England is decidedly in bloom. The lupine are holding on, the containers are overflowing with trailing petunias and sweet alyssum, and the lilies are just about to pop. Get to the 17th annual Stowe Garden Festival this weekend, June 26-28, at the Golden Eagle Resort and bask in the blooms. This year's 3-day celebration of 'everything garden' has the ever-popular theme of "Keeping it Green." Scheduled are an exciting list of hands-on workshops, demos, garden tours, and presentations by well-known gardening experts. Events are scattered around town, so be sure to look at the schedule and map so you don't miss out.

For Information check online, or call 800-247-8693. A weekend pass is $25, and a two day pass just $15. Can only make it up for the day? No problem - that'll be $10.
