Vermont's Youth Circus Starts its 2009 Tour this Saturday

circussmirk.jpg Yes, Vermont has it's own circus, Circus Smirkus in fact, it's an award-winning, non-profit youth circus that travels internationally, receiving acclaim where ever it performs. It's new show, "Smirkus Ever After: A Big Top Fairytale" launches Sunday, June 28 with 2 performances in The Circus Barn, Greensboro, Vt.

Can't make it this Saturday? No problem because the 2009 Big Top Tour will travel to 14 towns in the Northeast, performing 70 shows. Twenty-six stars, ages 10 to 18, bring energy and polished skills from all around the world. This year's troupe hails from Vermont, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Idaho, Maine, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, and Washington, with international troupers from France and the United Kingdom.

Tickets are $18 for adults, $14 for children and tots under 2 are free. Look online for more information or call 1-877-76f4-7587.
