magichatmardi.jpgA city like Burlington, Vt., meets all the criteria for hosting a great party. Easy to get to. Check. Affordable lodging with options. Check. Unique shops, restaurants and attractions. Check. And with Magic Hat Brewing Company in the center of things, Burlington's simply all that. Make your plans now to stay the weekend of Feb. 26-28 and party along with revelers at the 15th Annual Magic Hat Mardi Gras to benefit the Women's Rape Crisis Center.

Church Street is closed for the next best parade to New Orleans, beads are evident by the thousands, and the good energy is palpable. The Mardi Gras Post-Parade Party begins as soon as the last float is filed away, where you'll find New Orleans cuisine, Magic Hat mead, and purveyors of foodstuffs on every corner. This is a party for thousands, and with a charitable cause behind the scenes, you could maybe even write off the miles?!
