New Hampshire's tiny seacoast has long been a foodie destination thanks in part to the efforts of Portsmouth eateries, creative chefs, and even the thriving arts scene. March 26-April 3 marks the town's Restaurant Week where Foodees and amateurs alike can sample special three-course prix fixe menus at many participating restaurants. Lunches are set at $16.95 per person, and dinners just $29.95 per person [sorry, this does not include beverages, taxes or gratuities]. Reservations are highly recommended, and check out area hotels and inns offering deals and specials for lodging during this week as well.
