On Wednesday, June 23, everyone with an appetite can compete to be crowned the 2010 Quahogoholic! at the Quahog Republic's inaugural stuffed quahog eating contest at Quahog Republic Dive Bar in Falmouth. Contestants will have 90 seconds to devour as many stuffed quahogs as possible. Besides the bragging rights, the victor will also be crowned, and given a 2010 Quahogoholic t-shirt, a gift card to the Quahog Republic Dive Bar, and two tickets to an upcoming show at the fabulous outdoor Cape Cod Melody Tent. Fame will come to you as well, as your picture will remain on the wall of the QR throughout your reign!

This fun event runs from 5-7 p.m. and includes a raffle for the Monsta Lobsta [a red beauty of at least 10 pounds!], and more Melody Tent tickets. Narragansett Beer will be on hand with prizes, samples and specials too. Get your eating pants on and register today. The number of contestants will be limited so pre-register today by calling 508-540-4111 or email quahogrepublic1@aol.com.
