Ascend Collection adds four properties

The Ascend Collection for Choice Hotels International added four new member properties for the third quarter of 2010: Dove Creek Lodge, Key Largo, the first Ascend hotel in the Florida Keys; Ascot Suites, Morro Bay, on California's central coast; Hotel Alex Johnson, Rapid City, S.D.; and Royale Caribbean Resort & Spa, which is under construction and slated for completion by March, on the island of Anguilla.

Ascend Collection was created in late 2008 and has 37 hotels in the United States, Canada ,and the Caribbean. In New England, the sole Ascend property is the Carriage House Inn in Middletown. Choice Hotels International franchises more than 6,000 hotels around the world, including the Rodeway Inn, Econo Lodge, and Comfort Inn brands.
