Based on results from its annual survey, Travel and Leisure Magazine announced this week that its readers ranked Boston one of the rudest cities in America. Whatever.

Boston was ranked the sixth-rudest city in the nation, trailing only Washington, D.C., Miami, Philadelphia, New York City, and No. 1 Los Angeles. The results were compiled based on how readers voted in last year's "America's Favorite Cities" survey.

Here's what Travel and Leisure had to say about Boston's rudeness:

"Those Brahmins aren't huggers, according to AFC voters, or maybe winter's cold air outside just brings a chill inside. The No. 30 city for weather is also home to some of the least affordable hotels (No. 33). Warm yourself, then, with a nice ale (it's ranked No. 7 for microbrews) and some civilized music - it's No. 2 for classical."

So, just how rude are we? Let us know. Or don't, we really don't care.
