To celebrate the launch of its first-ever free mobile application, the Bermuda Department of Tourism is giving away three, four-night, five-day retreats for two via the Bermuda Travel and Vacation Guide Trip Giveaway contest. You can enter through the department's website through Aug.31. The contest is in partnership with JetBlue Airways, which is giving free round-trip air, and the Elbow Beach, Bermuda Fairmont Hamilton Princess, and Fairmont Southampton hotels, where winners will stay

The app allows vacationers to access Bermuda's most popular activities, sightseeing locations, golf courses, beaches, hotels, restaurants, and shops, and features an interactive map. Users can favorite hot spots and the app itself with others via Facebook, Twitter, and email. The app is available for free at the iTunes App Store. Three winners will be announced just after Labor Day
