The U.S. Virgin Islands Department of Tourism is offering a diving deal in the three-island territory of St. John, St. Croix and St. Thomas, which tourism officials said is one of few destinations offering five dive types: Wreck, reef, wall, pier and shore. With a Dive USVI promotion, visitors to any of the three islands get $450 in certificates, $300 for diving, $100 for dining and $50 for shopping. The promotion can be booked through Sept. 15 for travel through Oct. 31, and applies to bookings of six nights or more at any U.S. Virgin Islands hotel. Dive certificates must be redeemed at one of the 12 participating dive operators across the territory.
