Most Hollywood stars secure commercial gigs through and agent, a contract, and a hefty payday.

Then, there's Will Ferrell.

According to KegWorks Blog, the comedic actor approached Pabst Brewing Company, makers of swill Old Milwaukee, and offered to do a series of commercials for them...free of charge.

The results are a tongue-in-cheek, hilarious trio of spots where Ferrell proclaims his love for Davenport, Iowa (where he's visiting for the first time), goes fishing for beer, and ultimately, has a problem spelling the town's name.

The spots will only be aired locally in Davenport, but you can watch them below.
