Frontier to halt Logan service
Frontier Airlines, which is headquartered in Denver, has decided to discontinue service to Logan International Airport on May 17. Currently Frontier has one flight to Kansas City, Mo., every day except Saturday. Besides Frontier, Delta Air Lines also offers service to Kansas City. Frontier has been seeking to cut costs and trim unprofitable routes as transitions into a low-cost airline and its parent company, Republic Airways Holdings Inc., prepares to sell or spin it off, according to Bloomberg News.
