mayflower inn.jpg The Mayflower Inn & Spa in Washington, Conn., was the only inn located in the northeast to be ranked among the "Top Inns in the Continental U.S." category in Travel + Leisure's 2012 World's Best Awards readers' survey. The inn, which was ranked eighth in the survey and was once featured in a Boston Globe feature story in 2007, is a Relais & Chateaux designated property of Colonial design with 30 rooms and a 20,000-square-foot spa, on a 58-acre site in an area known for biking, hiking, skiing and snowmobiling.

The inn is no stranger to the luxury-accolade world: It is a long-time recipient of the Forbes 5-Star and AAA Five Diamond awards. Check it out at www.mayflowerinn.com
