Now here's an idea that we wish Massport would adopt at Logan: Travelers flying from Germany's Frankfurt Airport over the holidays don't have to lug their heavy winter coats to warmer climes. The airport will check coats for only 50 euro cents a day (about 67 US cents). The deal is good for travelers departing any day from December 20, 2012, to January 13, 2013. Return date does not matter (except that the meter keeps running). Coat storage is part of the airport's ''Great to have you here!'' program designed to make air travel in and out of Frankfurt more comfortable and convenient. Is anyone at Logan listening?
