The Ritz-Carlton, Naples, on Florida’s western coast, opened Oct. 1 following a multi-million dollar redo, one of the largest refurbishment projects in the company, officials said, which included an overhaul of all 450 rooms, suites and corridors, dining rooms, ballroom and a variety of structural, mechanical and engineering upgrades. The resort closed for the first time in its 27-year history to do the work over two months this summer. A new Italian-inspired restaurant, Terrazza, opens Nov. 1. The hotel has a AAA Five Diamond and a Forbes Five Star rating. Visit www.ritzcarlton.com for more information and reservations.
