Boston ranked the 13th selfiest city in the world

Have you ever wondered how many selfies are posted from Boston? Thanks to Time magazine, we now have an idea.

Boston is ranked the 13th selfiest city in the world, reports Time in its "The Selfiest Cities in the World" report. That means there are 88 selfie-takers per 100,000 people in Boston.

Time analyzed more than 400,000 Instagram photos tagged "selfie" that included geographic coordinates. Then it ranked 459 cities to determine the selfiest cities.

So where is the selfiest city? It is Makati City and Pasig in the Philippines, with 258 selfie-takers per 100,000 people.

Second place went to Manhattan, N.Y., with 202 selfie-takers per 100,000 people, and third place is Miami, Fla. with 155 selfie-takers per 100,000 people.
