If you are planning a trip to Boston this summer, get ready to spend some money. Boston has been named the third priciest city summer getaway in the U.S. by TripAdvisor.

How was it decided? The travel site figured out the cost of an evening out and overnight stay in cities across the country this summer. The night out includes a two-course dinner paired with a bottle of wine, cocktails for two, round-trip taxi transportation, and a one night stay in a hotel between June and August. The best you can do in Boston for all of that is $491, according to TripAdvisor.

To be more specific, the site averaged the cost of a room at a 4 to 4.5-star hotel, a two-course meal for two at a mid-range restaurant that includes a bottle of house white wine, two martinis at a top-rated 5 star hotel, and the cost of two 2-mile taxi rides.
