Getting to Logan on the MBTA

Logan International Airport is served by subway and bus routes operated by the MBTA (the Massachusetts Bay Transit Authority, most commonly knows as the T). Click here for more information about the T.


Subway Service

Arriving in Boston:

Wait outside the baggage claim area, near the taxi stand, for the free shuttle bus (#22 or #33) operated by the T. The bus drops you off at the Blue Line, where you can catch an inbound train. You can switch to the Orange Line at the State Street stop, or to the Green Line at Government Center.

Departing Boston:

Take the Blue Line to Airport Station, then catch a free shuttle bus to any of the airline terminals.

Free shuttle bus schedules:

Massport shuttle bus service operates seven days per week, from 4 am to 1 am. Shuttle buses are handicapped accessible.

Shuttle Bus Route #s:

  • 11. Serves all terminals. Does not stop at the Airport Subway Station.

  • 22. Serves Terminals A & B to the Airport Subway Station.

  • 33. Serves Terminals C,D & E to the Airport Subway Station.

  • 66. Serves all terminals and Water Shuttle Dock.

  • 88. Serves all terminals and Satellite Parking Lots.

MBTA Bus Service

You can get to Logan using the No. 448, 459, and CT3 buses.
