Maisie Crow for The Boston Globe
I almost do not want to tell you about it. This small green space in East Boston overlooking a stunning view of the Hubs downtown from across the inner harbor has been my little secret. Just a short trek from the Maverick stop on the blue line, Piers Park spreads 6.5 acres and has a long promenade stretching out into the waterfront. Ships and boats glide along the city skyline. Large families lay out their picnics on the grassy knolls. It is somewhere quiet, away from the traffic and congested roadways, somewhere I could sit and chill and think for hours.
