Sleeping at the Borden crime scene

Lizzie Borden was accused and tried for the murders of her father and step-mother in 1892. Since then, the Fall River home has been converted into a Bed & Breakfast . Martha McGinn, co-owner of the house, sits in the John Morse Room, where Abby Borden was murdered. Guests can choose from eight different rooms, which once belonged to members of the Borden family, or rest in the sitting room where Arthur's body was found. McGinn tried to recreate the Victorian feel of the house by matching furniture from the crime photos. Not daring enough to spend a night? Tours are available.
