The Mugar Memorial Library is the primary spot for research and study of the humanities and social sciences at Boston University. The first four floors of the library are devoted to study, but the fifth floor houses some pretty unique gems. Perry Barton, Gotlieb Exhibition Coordinator, holds an autographed pair of Fred Astaire's shoes (dated 1945) which are kept on the shelf of Vita Paladino's office, the Director of the Gotlieb Collection, on the fifth floor.
