Boston University summer students are not the only ones able to peer into the night sky at the Coit Observatory, located on the roof above the Astronomy department. The observatory holds Public Open Night generally on Wednesday evenings during the year (weather permitting), beginning at 8:30 p.m. during the summer. The opportunity allows anyone to look at the night sky through the school's telescopes and binoculars to learn a little astronomy as well.
