Previously unreleased to the public, Stewart Gardener’s travel scrapbooks chronicle adventures taken over three decades of her life. The journal page at left is from an 1883 trip to Japan. The page at right is from Cambodia. Both destinations were part of a two-year voyage, which included stops in China, India, Vietnam, and Singapore.
