Register's Annual Great Bicycle Ride Across Iowa, known as RAGBRAI, is a 400 to 500 mile bike ride across the state of Iowa, with stops in eight host towns along the way. The ride, which typically includes about 8,500 cyclists, has taken place each summer since 1973.
