BRETTON WOODS, N.H. (AP) — The theme for this year’s Northern New Hampshire Tourism Conference is ‘‘Live Free and Prosper.’’

Nancie Freitas, the former chief marketing officer for the company Constant Contact, is the keynote speaker at the third annual conference on Thursday.

The conference is being held at the Appalachian Mountain Club’s Highland Center at Crawford Notch in Bretton Woods.

The conference hosts workshops designed to help tourism-based businesses network and learn strategies to improve their business practices and help increase revenues. It is a collaboration of New Hampshire Grand, the Northern Forest Canoe Trail, the Women’s Rural Entrepreneurial Network and the Appalachian Mountain Club.end of story marker
