CORNISH, N.H. (AP) — The town of Cornish, N.H., is preparing for a number of events this year marking its 250th anniversary.

The celebration is starting with a winter carnival this Friday at Town Hall, the Cornish Recreation Area and the Cornish Fairgrounds.
