Today’s grand opening of Terminal B at Logan International Airport promises significant technological upgrades designed to streamline the traveling experience for people flying in and out of Boston.

Aside from simplifying the checking-in process with self service machines, travelers won’t have to skulk around the terminal while seeking vacant electric outlets to charge their devices — the new terminal comes equipped with outlets at every seat.

Travelers will also be able to buy locally-produced artisan foods at Berkshire Farms Market. The 1,200 square feet market will sell a variety of foods from the Berkshires, including maple syrup, granola, and handmade chocolates.
