Basic jonnycake recipe

1 cup corn meal

1 Tbsp. sugar

1 tsp. salt

1 cup boiling water

3-4 Tbsp. milk

Combine ingredients. Scald with boiling water. Cook 5-6 minutes on each side, or until crunchy.
