Since 1953 the Mulkern family has held court in this photograph-filled pub dispensing and listening to yarns from skiers, hikers, and locals coming off the White Mountain slopes and trails. A pint of Guinness, Greek salad, and pizza is the traditional meal, but the menu also offers comfort foods like shepherd’s pie and pan-fried liver, bacon, and onions. The pub is known for its thin crust pizza loaded with toppings from jalapenos to the Friedman (bacon, garlic, and onions). Tap your toes four nights a week (Thursday through Sunday) to songs from the Emerald Isle and choose from 14 beers on tap. - MARTY BASCH
