First Canyon Ranch featuring kids spa services to open at The Homestead
Devotees of the Lenox, Mass. Canyon Ranch spa will soon have another location where they can go to indulge. The Homestead in Hot Springs, VA, and Canyon Ranch just announced a partnership to create a new spa and fitness experience.
According to a statement from The Homestead, the Canyon Ranch SpaClub will debut in spring 2013, featuring a "touch of southern hospitality" and all the wellness options fans of Canyon Ranch have come to enjoy.
Most notably, this Canyon Ranch will be the first to introduce family spa services, giving kids aged 4 and above the opportunity to take part in some of the spa services.
The new Canyon Ranch SpaClub at The Homestead is part of the resort's overall $25 million renovation project.
The spa will also feature Aquavana®, an exclusive European-inspired aqua thermal concept that includes experiential rains, herbal laconium, a chill room and crystal steam room focused on the ancient concept of "healing by water" using mineral spring waters drawn from the nearby mountains. If you're unfamiliar with The Homestead, read more about the hotel's historic healing tradition of "taking the waters", which has drawn travelers since the mid 1700s, including Thomas Jefferson.
The spa garden, an adults-only sanctuary, will open this fall as the first phase of the new spa and will feature therapeutic geothermal mineral bath, a river reflexology bed, co-ed Finnish sauna, spring-fed whirlpool, and private poolside cabanas. Canyon Ranch SpaClub will feature signature treatments, three fitness studios, a movement therapy and Pilates room and a cycling studio. To keep in line with Canyon Ranch's heath and wellness focus, an on-site exercise physiologist, nutritionist and medical staff will be onsite.
As the project progresses, the Canyon Ranch SpaClub will introduce family spa services, with special features for kids including a Stars Facial and Pink Bubbles Pedicure geared for younger guests aged 4 and older.
