Finding the perfect memento from your trip overseas doesn't have to be difficult. To help ensure you bring something unique home, Virgin Atlantic launched a commercial art gallery - in the sky.

Upper Class passengers flying between New York and London can view and purchase a series of one-of-a-kind paintings by renowned British street artist Ben Eine straight from their onboard seats onboard, and at Virgin Atlantic’s clubhouses at JFK, Newark and Heathrow.

Eine’s signature style of typography started on the streets of London, and became famous in the US when David Cameron, Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, gave President
Barack Obama an Eine original on his first trip to Washington DC.

Eine’s gallery for the airline is inspired by the cities of New York and London. In addition to viewing the paintings on the ground, special videos on ‘the making of’ and a ‘behind the scenes look’ will be featured on the inflight entertainment system.

If you want to buy a Eine original, the duty-free paintings are priced $4000 and $24,000.

Virgin Atlantic says the Gallery in the Air with Ben Eine is set to be the first in a series of unique onboard collaborations with renowned artists. Virgin Atlantic’s ‘Gallery in the Air’ takes place throughout the month of February, so if you're flying the award-winning airline, be sure to take a look at what's on display.
