Wembley_Stadium,_illuminated.jpgShow your pride, Pats fans – Virgin Atlantic is searching for the ultimate football fan to cover the NFL International Series in London with Virgin Atlantic.

Virgin Atlantic is the Official Airline Partner for the NFL International Series and will charter the teams to London for the game on Oct. 27. To help cover the events, the airline is teaming up with sports reporter Adam Schefter and looking the next "Red Hot Reporter" to cover the events of the San Francisco 49ers vs. Jacksonville Jaguars match-up, including the NFL fan rally at Trafalgar Square, tailgate at Wembley Stadium and of course, the game from the airline's private field-view suite.

The Red Hot Reporter will interview players, go behind-the-scenes with sideline access and showcase the fan experience from the Virgin Atlantic suite.

“If you love football, this is one sure way to have an unforgettable trip to London to see the NFL International Series.” said Adam Schefter, Football Reporter and television analyst. “I’ll be looking for an outgoing, creative person with a red hot passion for football and the journalistic chops needed to be a Red Hot Reporter.”

Chris Rossi, Virgin Atlantic’s Senior Vice President, North America said, “We’re looking for someone who can capture the essence of the NFL International Series and present it back to the US audience. We’ll be handing over our social media channels to the Red Hot Reporter for the weekend to ensure that fans can be kept up to date on all the action both on and off the field.”

Think you have what it takes to cover the event? You need to act fast. Here's what you'll need to do:

  1. Show your passion for football and reporting abilities through a video created on the platform of your choice.
  2. Follow @Virgin_Atlantic on Twitter
  3. Tweet the video to @Virgin_Atlantic with the hashtag #RedHotReporter

Video submissions are open to legal US residents at least 21 years of age or older, and will be accepted now through Oct 11. The Red Hot Reporter will be selected by Adam Schefter and announced on Oct. 14.
