In addition to being home to one of the American Revolution's most notorious battles, Concord is also the former stomping ground and inspiration for many of the country's early writers. Find the Orchard House (left), the setting for Louisa May Alcott's 1868 book, Little Women. In addition, take a peek into the home of Ralph Waldo Emerson, and discover the site of Henry David Thoreau's cabin at the Walden Pond State Reservation.
