New England wildlife update

A brown juvenile eagle perched atop a tree at Leonard's Pond in Lake Umbagog National Wildlife Refuge. The tree was the last place eagles nested in New Hampshire in 1949 before the DDT wipeout and the first place eagles re-nested in the post-DDT era.
