Lighthouses of New England

With just 18 miles of coastline, New Hampshire has far fewer lighthouses than neighboring Maine and Massachusetts. In fact, with just five, the state ties inland Vermont with the fewest number of lighthouses in New England. Three are on Lake Sunapee. But New Hampshire can still claim a pair of seaside gems in the Portsmouth Harbor Light and the White Island Light on the Isles of Shoals.
