I grew up in Assonet, and frankly, we never felt the need to crow about our Profile Rock the way some states boasted about their own facial rock formations. Still, Massachusetts' own version of the Man in the Mountains is a cool roadside attraction. If you look closely enough, past the ever-present grafitti, you can almost see a vision of what the Wampanoags have said looks like Chief Massasoit. Others say it looks like a rock.
