Masterpiece Theater
Caught in the rainstorm? Take in a flick from the balcony of the single-screen Loring Hall Cinema. Built in 1852, the building once played host to concerts, balls, and lectures by Ralph Waldo Emerson and Oliver Wendell Holmes. Converted to a cinema in 1936, the historic theater now specializes in art-house films.
