A portrait of Lizzie Borden hangs on a wall at the Lizzie Borden house in Fall River. (It's now a bed & breakfast.) Borden was charged with killing her mother and father inside the home at 92 Second St. in 1892. She was acquitted of the charges following a sensational 13-day trial.
