A window into the past, Plimoth Plantation offers a unique taste of early colonial life in America.
Set in 1627, seven years after the first Pilgrims landed on Massachusetts shores, the living history museum allows visitors to interact with role players playing the part of English colonists, replete with thick accents and period attire. The accompanying homesite, staffed by current-day Wampanoag, provides a point of view into the life of the native people in the 1600s.
