How to get there

Kripalu Center is approximately 130 miles west of Boston.
By car: Take the Massachusetts Turnpike (Interstate 90) to exit 2 in Lee. Take the right fork off the exit ramp onto Route 20 west. After 4 miles, Route 20 merges with Route 7. About 100 yards past the merge, turn left at the traffic light onto Route 183. Follow signs to Tanglewood, staying on Route 183 for another 1.6 miles. When the road forks at the ''Town of Stockbridge" sign, bear left. The entrance to Kripalu Center is immediately on your right.
By bus: Service from Boston to Lenox is available on Peter Pan Trailways (800-343-9999; www.peterpanbus.com) for $79 round trip. Kripalu offers a shuttle service from the Lenox bus depot for $5 each way; reserve ahead.

While at Kripaulu: Hike though meadows, woods, and gardens on the 300-acre campus or swim at Kripalu's beach on Lake Mahkeenac. Work out in the fitness room and unwind in the whirlpool or sauna. Express yourself in daily Danskinetics classes or Sharing Circles. Enjoy evening activities such as documentary films, dancing, musical concerts, and other performances. Shop for books, tapes, CDs, candles, yoga clothes, and other items at the Kripalu Store. Escape to the sanctuary of the fourth floor Sun Room overlooking the grounds. Relax on the lawn or beach or sneak off campus and enjoy the music from neighboring Tanglewood on a summer afternoon or evening.

Accommodations

Kripalu offers a range of accommodations for all budgets, from dormitories with bunk beds sleeping 6-22 guests at $130 for two nights to single rooms with private bath at $372-$421 for two nights (summer rates). Price per night falls with longer stays. Prices are per person and include all meals, yoga classes, and use of the facilities for the duration of the program in which the guest is enrolled. Dining

Kripalu offers three cafeteria-style meals per day in its Dining Chapel. Beverages and fruit are available all day. Breakfast in the main dining room is held in silence; silent areas are available at each meal.The Kripalu Kaf sells snacks, sweets, and juices. Open 10 a.m.-8 p.m. daily.
