How to get there
Stonington, Maine, lies at the end of Route 15, an hour's drive south of Route 1, a few miles south of Bucksport. From Boston, take Interstate 95 to Interstate 295 in Portland. (295 becomes 95 again in Augusta, but it's shorter to take 295 to Augusta.) Take exit 113, go east on Route 3 to Belfast, and pick up Route 1 north to Bucksport, then Route 15 south.
