Diablo Glass School’s weekly Family Experience was bustling last Sunday. Hmmm, I wondered: Does this have anything to do with the Chihuly exhibit that passed through the Museum of Fine Arts recently? When we entered the Hot Shop for a glass blowing demonstration, our good-natured guide, Emery, asked whether anyone had seen the Chihuly show. Several hands went up, and Emery smiled. We were about to see for ourselves how glass is shaped into functional and artistic creations.
