Some of the most spectacular scenery explodes in the fall along historic Connecticut River, which forms New Hampshire's western border. Launch your own canoe or hook up with one of several outfitters in the area. The towns of Cornish, Lebanon, Orford and Walpole all have great launching sites, plus nearby restaurants and attractions for before and after your tour.
