"Shoe-La-Bration" Gala Auction
Haverhill, Oct. 24
Now through October, 10 five-foot-tall fiberglass shoes, decorated by various artists to commemorate the citys shoe-making heritage, are on display in prominent locations around downtown Haverhill. The Soles of Haverhill Shoe-la-bration is a first-time community art celebration, and these whimsical art pieces will be auctioned off at a gala event at the Buttonwoods Museum on Oct. 24 with proceeds to support local nonprofit organizations.
