Frank Vana Jr., seven-time State Mid-Am champ and eight-time MGA Player of the Year, says "whether it's a casual round or a serious match [on this par 3], this tee shot never really leaves your mind until your ball is safely on the green." The hole plays between 145 and 165 yards. Vana says that although it's not a pure island green, it plays like one because there's a small brook that protects the front, left, and right, and though it doesn't stretch to the back of the green, that's not a bail-out area.
His recommendation: "Take aim at the center of the green. That's the only place you should be trying to hit it."
