8. 7th hole at Concord Country Club in Concord Charlie Volpone, two-time winner of the State Four-ball Championship, says this par 4 may seem like an easier hole compared with the course's previous stretch of grueling par 4s, but 'many a player has met disaster here, assuming it was a breeze.' The hole plays anywhere from 290 to 345 yards. Volpone says 'You can play it safe off the tee and have a difficult shot into the green, or play aggressively and have a short iron.' His recommendation: The club of choice is a driver. Always.
