22. Full-moon snowshoe hikes at Stratton

For the snow bunny in your life, why not try a departure from skiing? Stratton Mountain Resort in Vermont offers full-moon snowshoe hikes to the Pearl Buck House on the rolling hills of the Stratton Golf Course. Hikes are offered (on or around each full moon) on Dec. 13, Jan. 10, Jan. 30, Feb. 7, and March 14. Rental snowshoes are available at First Run Ski Shop or the Sun Bowl Adventure Center.
