Rose Island is located in the middle of Narragansett Bay just south of the Newport Bridge. Listed in the National Register of Historic Places, the Rose Island Lighthouse is a daytime museum that transforms into a very rustic inn at night, with two bedrooms that can be reserved for an overnight stay back in time: the lighthouse has been restored to its 1912 condition.
